old muscle carsThe Chevrolet 210, produced from 1953 through 1957, was Chevrolet's best selling model in 1953 and 1954. The '54 model was powered by a 125 horsepower, 235-cubic-inch six.

A tip of the hat to Elite Classic Cars whose owner, Clint Knight, has been so gracious in allowing me to photograph Elite's inventory over repeated visits. The dealership is located in Glenarm, Illinois, just south of Springfield on Historic U.S. Route 66.

  1. Whoa! That Dodge Super Bee looks like it just came out of the factory! It’s nice to see that it was well-maintained. Since it is a limited edition vehicle, not a lot of people have this. Have you seen the new model? The Dodge Charger Super Bee? It defines what a muscle car is.

  2. The thing about vintage cars that makes them so desirable is their amazing and distinctive designs. When you see one rolling down the street, you can’t help but look, especially if the car is properly maintained. I still want to own a shiny 1966 Volkswagen Beetle, even though the model is quite old.
